Rosemullion Dry Gin: Victorious Juniper Berries at the Heart of Autumn 2025

Rosemullion Dry Gin Brings Autumn Triumphantly In…
If you want to raise a glass of something punchy to those who won the Ryder Cup 2025, or to lift your glass to the triumphant Red Roses girls, then our Dry Gin has the victorious kick you need. There’s one botanical that defines the winning spirit above all others: juniper. At Rosemullion Distillery, juniper berries form the backbone of their award-winning Dry Gin, delivering the crisp, aromatic essence that makes each sip unmistakably classic. Not only does juniper provide its signature piney freshness, it also gives that subtle, invigorating “kick” that gin lovers know and love, creating a spirit that is both refreshing and memorable on crisp autumn nights. So what exactly is Juniper?
Juniper comes from the juniper bush (Juniperus communis), a coniferous plant native to Northern Europe, North America, and parts of Asia. Its small, dark blue berries are coated with a natural resin, giving them a distinct piney, earthy aroma. Juniper has been used in herbal remedies and culinary applications for centuries, but in gin, it is truly the soul of the spirit — the defining botanical that transforms neutral alcohol into a classic London Dry Gin. Its bright, pine-forward freshness, combined with subtle citrus and floral undertones, provides the perfect foundation on which other botanicals can shine. Learn more about gin at The Gin Guide which notes the rich juniper profile of our Dry Gin.
I thought ‘London Dry Gin’ was a copyrighted brand?
Rosemullion Distillery’s Dry Gin is crafted in the London Dry Gin style, which is not copyrighted or tied to a geographic location i.e London, but to a strict set of production rules. These rules ensure that:
- the gin is distilled with natural botanicals only, including juniper as the lead
- it’s made from a neutral spirit base, distilled to high purity before botanicals are added
- and is free from artificial flavors or added sweeteners post-distillation.
This guarantees the classic, juniper-forward, crisp profile that defines a London Dry Gin.
Our Botanicals
We use 12 carefully selected botanicals, each chosen to harmonize with juniper’s crisp, aromatic character. Coriander seeds add gentle spice and citrusy brightness, while orange and lemon peel bring sunny, zesty notes that happily balance out juniper’s piney depth. Orris and angelica root provide earthy, slightly floral undertones, adding richness and complexity. Hints of liquorice and aniseed contribute subtle sweetness and aromatic warmth, and black pepper and cassia bark give that delicate spiciness that enhances structure without overpowering our palates.
Critics consistently praise Rosemullion Dry Gin for its balance and elegance. On the nose, fresh pine and citrus greet you immediately, with soft floral hints emerging as the gin opens. The palate is smooth and layered, led by juniper, while the other botanicals provide depth and harmony. The finish is clean and refreshing, leaving a lingering, cooling pine note that reminds you why juniper is at the heart of gin.
“Juniper takes centre stage, but the supporting botanicals create a rich, layered experience.” The Gin Guide
Juniper isn’t just about flavour — it’s about structure and harmony. In our Dry Gin, our juniper berries provide the backbone, binding citrus, spice, and herbal notes together. Its crisp, aromatic clarity makes it ideal for sipping neat, over ice, or in autumn-inspired cocktails. Combined with its recognition as an award-winning dry gin and its adherence to the London Dry Gin style, it’s a spirit that embodies both tradition and craftsmanship.
“Smooth, elegant, and perfectly balanced — a testament to true craft gin-making.” World Gin Awards
