Our new Cornish gin captures the essence of coastal walks and salty air
We are delighted to launch a new coastal-inspired gin, using foraged ingredients from the Cornish coastline.
Flavoured by locally-sourced samphire and three types of Cornish seaweed, our Seafarer’s Gin is now available to purchase online and in select stores across the south west of England.
At 43% ABV, it is distilled in 200 bottle batches in a copper still, and uses a dozen carefully selected botanicals, including juniper, orange, orris, angelica root, cassia, lemon, and liquorice.
Those who are lucky enough to live in Cornwall, or have visited our beautiful coastline, will know what it’s like to walk along the beach or the coast path, taking in the refreshing sea air, and feeling the salty spray as the waves crash against the coastline.
We’ve tried to encapsulate that feeling in our Seafarer’s Gin, so that our customers can experience a small piece of the Cornish coastline at home.
Inspired by the salty air and stormy seas that crash against the coastline of Cornwall. Made using a blend of botanicals found along the coast, and seaweed from the shoreline.
As this is quite a peppery gin, it works really well as a simple G&T – served with premium Indian tonic water and a slice of lemon. Try serving with a little dried sea spaghetti in a high ball for a different taste.
Please note – the colours of our products are natural. We don’t use colourants, so some natural colour variation will exist between batches.
“Delicately earthy, with peppery top notes and a clean lemon peel finish. The curvy nautical-inspired bottle is really beautiful, making this a great gift.” – Stacey Smith, The Independent
